THE GUIDELINES FOR SUPPORTING THE SECTOR AT VICENZAORO CHARM
VICENZAORO Charm will be officially inaugurated on Saturday, 22 May at 12 noon, by the Hon. Antonio Tajani, vice-president of the European Commission for Industry and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Tajani, who will also chair the seminar meeting at 10 a.m., entitled “What Europe for Italian Jewels?”, will bring the greetings and indications of the Government on the new prospects of the global market and possible future scenarios regarding the gold and jewellery sector.

VICENZAORO EDUCATIONAL: SPECIALIZED MEETING FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE SECTOR
On Sunday, Federdettaglianti Orafi will tackle the theme of the media in the Fogazzaro Room, while on Monday an examination will be made of the figure of the jeweller ¬who must relate to new consumers. Again on Monday, at 11.30 in the Trissino Room, Fiera di Vicenza will present the event: ”The 360° world of precious goods”, and from 14.30 Centro Produttività Veneto will analyze brands and emerging markets. Then, on Tuesday 25, the World Gold Council will illustrate opportunities and problems with regard to the Chinese market. Also in the programme for Tuesday are window display techniques organized by Accademia Vetrinistica Italiana, while on the same day TJF Group will report on the new product indications for 2011 following the seminar on Saturday 22.

VICENZAORO CHARM: SERVICE INFORMATION
Pre-registration on-line is active. The car parks around the fair area are connected by shuttles which run from 7.30 to 19.30. The railway station is also served by a shuttle bus as are the airports of Verona and Venice. There is a “Vicenza Wireless” service for internet connectivity inside VICENZAORO Charm. Furthermore it will be possible to use the Italian post office fax service as well as the meeting rooms in the equipped business points. There is a medical service and nursery on the mezzanine. Catering services are provided in all the Fair pavilions: there is also a newsagent’s and tobacconist in pav. A while there is a kosher restaurant in pav. G and a Chinese one in pav. H. Not to be forgotten, furthermore, is the “plus” service offered by Vicenza Fair to its guests at the “Golden Corner” where exhibitors and operators can book a working lunch in Villa Bonin Maistrello. The VICENZAORO Lounge will be open at the west entrance from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. where it will serve lunches and aperitifs and provide a happy hour.
